Jacobson to Share Insights into Developing Your Insurance Career at Chicago Actuarial Association Spring Workshop

CHICAGO – Navigating the career journey can be a challenge. From developing soft skills to cultivating leadership potential and establishing your personal network, young professionals must navigate a number of hurdles. Alicia Morris, assistant vice president for The Jacobson Group, will discuss best practices for managing one’s industry career at the Chicago Actuarial Association Spring Workshop in Chicago.

“Today’s employees face a number of hot trends and shifts that will have a significant impact on the professional landscape,” said Morris. “It is vital that young professionals prepare themselves for the reality of an ever-changing job market.”

Morris will present “Navigating the Insurance Career Path: Strategies for Success” on March 20, at 4:15 p.m. The session will explore key areas of demand within insurance, share insights into the top skills employers are looking for, and identify best practices and strategies for developing an insurance career.

As assistant vice president for Jacobson’s health team, Morris is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with clients.
