CHICAGO – Technology is drastically impacting the insurance industry and its workforce. Human capital is the most critical component of any organization and engaging employees during times of transition is vital to maintaining a strong business. Kylee Lacson, assistant vice president and life practice lead at The Jacobson Group, will discuss how organizations can best navigate industry shifts at the Life Office Management Association’s Financial Inforum.
Lacson will join Darrin Steinhagen of CUNA Mutual Group to present “Developing a Future-Ready Workforce in a Digital World.” The session will provide attendees with an understanding of the rise of artificial intelligence and modernization in the workplace, explore the effects of these disruptors on human capital and share insights on best practices for reacting to industry changes. The presentation will take place on May 8 at 10:30 EDT in Clearwater, Fla.
“Insurance organizations must embrace technology to stay competitive,” said Lacson. “However, during times of transformation, it is vital companies also keep their employees engaged and motivated in their new work realities.”
As assistant vice president and practice lead for Jacobson's life team, Lacson leads the sales team responsible for assisting life and disability clients. The team provides these organizations access to the temporary staffing and subject matter experts solutions needed to effectively manage workload fluctuations, special projects and other short-term needs. Active in the insurance industry, Lacson is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and attained her Associateship of the Secure Retirement Institute as an inaugural member.
