CHICAGO – The Jacobson Group is pleased to announce Senior Vice President Brad Whatley was elected vice president of the Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals’ (AICP) Great Lakes Chapter. AICP offers the insurance industry exceptional compliance and ethics education, training, and opportunities to engage with industry experts and regulatory authorities.
In his role, Whatley will work to further AICP’s mission to provide regulatory compliance-focused education and professional development, ultimately seeking to grow the association’s membership and increase member participation. He is also next in line for chapter president, following the end of the current president’s term.
“AICP’s dedication to the advancement of the insurance compliance community is commendable,” said Whatley. “I look forward to contributing my time and efforts to positively impact the association’s future. In particular, I hope to establish AICP as a thought leadership destination by sharing our knowledge and resources with the larger insurance community.”
As senior vice president at Jacobson, Whatley provides leadership to the company’s temporary staffing and subject matter experts teams, which offer insurance organizations access to interim support across all functional areas and at all levels. He also plays a significant role in the continued development of the entire organization as a member of Jacobson’s Executive Management Team.
Active in the insurance industry, Whatley participates in several organizations in addition to AICP, including the Association of Home Office Underwriters and the Society of Actuaries.
