CHICAGO – As the insurance industry evolves, it is important for professionals to have an accurate understanding of the labor market and the skills needed make an impact. Artificial intelligence, fluid work environments and new roles are just a few of the many disruptors affecting the industry. Margaret Resce Milkint, managing partner of The Jacobson Group, will join the Advancement of Professional Insurance Women at their Chicago luncheon to discuss these topics, along with next practices for future leaders.
In her presentation, “Emerging Trends in a Changing Industry,” Milkint will share the results of Jacobson and Aon’s 2019 Q1 U.S. Insurance Labor Outlook Study. The semi-annual study collects revenue and hiring projections from organizations across all insurance sectors, providing a valuable look at the labor market and hiring trends. The presentation will also provide insight on the future of work and how tomorrow’s leaders can prepare in order to be most impactful.
“We’re facing nearly non-existent unemployment in insurance and navigating a number of industry disruptors,” said Milkint. “Tomorrow’s leaders are facing different challenges than their predecessors. By understanding where the industry is headed, these individuals can focus on developing the necessary skills and networks to be most impactful in the future of work.”
The presentation will take place on June 20 at 12 p.m. in Chicago. For more information, visit https://apiw.org/event/apiw-chicago-june-2019-luncheon/.
