Jacobson Shares the Importance of Soft Skills at IASA’s National Conference

May 21, 2019

CHICAGO – The future of work requires new leaders who can be successful in a multitude of environments. Soft or “human” skills are becoming even more integral to success amid today’s heightened focus on technology. Margaret Resce Milkint, managing partner of The Jacobson Group, will share best practices for cultivating these skills at all career levels at the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association’s annual conference.

Milkint will join an esteemed group of industry experts for the IASA’s skills fair, “Elevate Your Experience.” In her session, “Soft Skills Define Future Leaders,” she will lead discussions on the evolution of soft skills and facilitate conversations around the skills necessary to succeed in emerging roles, the importance of including these skills in career development and next practices for refining them.

“While technical ability is important, embracing what makes us human will fuel the wave of innovation for years to come,” said Milkint. “By mastering soft skills, professionals will be set up to succeed and lead in an evolving workplace.”

The session will take place on June 4 from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. in Phoenix. For more details, or to register for the event, visit the following link:
