Forbes Names Jacobson One of America’s Best Recruiting Firms

CHICAGO – The Jacobson Group, the leading provider of insurance talent, was named to the 2019 Forbes List of America’s Best Recruiting Firms. The list was divided into two categories: executive search and professional recruiting, with Jacobson ranking in both.

Forbes partnered with Statista, an independent research firm, to survey 25,000 recruiters and 5,000 job candidates and HR managers to compile the lists. Respondents could recommend up to 10 recruiting agencies and self-nominations were not considered.

According to Forbes, “More than 100 consecutive months of job gains have contributed to a unique employment environment, one where, for the first time in recent memory, organizations have found themselves struggling to attract the workforces they need to succeed.” Forbes noted that as a result, companies are increasingly turning to recruiters and the list aims to help them determine which recruiting firms are best suited to their needs. 

Out of more than 17,000 nominations, 250 firms were named to the list of professional recruiting firms, defined by their focus on filling roles with salaries under $100,000. Two hundred firms were selected as top executive search firms, defined by their specialization in filling positions with salaries of $100,000 and more.
