CHICAGO – The workforce is changing at a faster pace than ever before and insurers are faced with a number of emerging issues. How are leading organizations embracing diversity and inclusion initiatives to be more effective and innovative? What does the Millennial workforce and changing employee expectations mean for insurers? How has the #MeToo movement impacted organizations? Margaret Resce Milkint, managing partner of The Jacobson Group, will share insights on these topics and more at the American Society of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP) annual meeting.
Milkint will join Howard Lavin, partner at Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, for “The New Workforce,” a panel discussion on topics and issues currently affecting the workplace. The session will be moderated by Jeffrey Fenster, executive vice president at AMTrust Financial Services and AMCOMP president, and take place on April 11 at 1:30 p.m. PDT in Las Vegas.
“Today’s workplace is vastly different than even 10 years ago,” said Milkint. “It’s vital that insurers embrace opportunities to improve upon workplace issues and create environments where employees can be most engaged and effective.”
As managing partner of Jacobson, Milkint oversees executive management engagements across all industry verticals for the firm’s executive search practice. Her insurance-specific labor-market expertise is highly sought after, and she is regularly called on to share her insights with various industry associations and publications. Milkint co-founded the Women’s Insurance Networking Group, a platform for leading industry females to network and celebrate successes. She chairs the Million Women Mentors Women in Insurance Initiative. In addition, Margaret serves as the U.S. committee chair for the Insurance Supper Club, which provides a network and forum for senior-level women in the insurance industry on a global basis, and the U.S. co-chair of Dive In. She is also a proud trustee of The Actuarial Foundation and a champion for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Women in Insurance Conference Series.
