Jacobson Discusses Evolving Leadership Characteristics at the SEAC 2018 Spring Meeting

CHICAGO – The insurance industry is undergoing a multitude of developing trends, and insurers are facing a more complex and challenging workforce. Which leadership qualities are most desirable and necessary for success in this rapidly evolving environment? Kylee Lacson, assistant vice president and life practice lead of The Jacobson Group, will explore the answers to this important question as a panelist at the Southeastern Actuaries Conference 2018 Spring Meeting in Bonita Springs, Florida.

“The future of work seems uncertain and unstable,” said Lacson. “The leaders of today and the future need to provide a sense of stability for their employees.”

The session, titled “Leadership Presence: Portraying Confidence and Courage,” is scheduled for 8:20 a.m. EDT on June 22, 2018. Lacson and the other panelists will discuss strategies and best practices managers should employ to seamlessly lead their employees through today’s changing workplace reality.

As assistant vice president and practice lead for Jacobson's life team, Lacson leads the sales team responsible for assisting life and disability clients. The team provides these organizations access to the temporary staffing and subject matter experts solutions needed to effectively manage workload fluctuations, special projects and other short-term needs. Active in the insurance industry, Lacson is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and attained her Associateship of the Secure Retirement Institute as an inaugural member. She also participates in several organizations such as the Association of Home Office Underwriters and the Society of Actuaries.
