Jacobson Explores Evolving Professional Development at the PRIMA 2018 Conference

CHICAGO – The insurance industry's growing leadership talent gap has insurers reevaluating their professional development strategies. Executives must better position their employees for greater contribution and ongoing leadership within their organizations. Joyce Dunn, vice president and managing director of The Jacobson Group, will explore how to effectively address this issue at the Public Risk Management Association's 2018 Conference in Indianapolis.

"Filling the entry-level industry ranks is necessary for building an effective talent pipeline," said Dunn. "But this laser focus on recruiting young professionals overlooks a growing tightness at the mid-level."

Dunn will present "Rethinking Leadership: Overturning Traditional Professional Development" on June 5, at 3:00 p.m. The session will identify the workforce's changing dynamics, evaluate professional development strategies and discuss ways to transition employees into industry leaders.
