Jacobson Explores the Changing Landscape of Human Capital

CHICAGO – An aging workforce, increasing retirement rate and low unemployment are all contributing to an increasingly competitive insurance industry talent market. Prioritizing human capital and talent management is essential for companies hoping to hire and retain innovative employees. Gregory P. Jacobson, co-chief executive officer of The Jacobson Group, will moderate a session on this topic at the 2017 PIAA Technology Human Resources and Finance Workshop in San Diego, Ca.

The panel, “The Changing Landscape of Human Capital,” is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on October 5, 2017. Moderated by Jacobson, the panel includes Johanna Harris, senior vice president of human resources at The Jacobson Group; Paul McCaffrey, chief financial officer at CSAA Insurance Group; and Jeffrey J. Reider, head of Ward Group, a part of Aon Hewitt, a business unit of Aon plc (NYSE: AON). The panelists will discuss evolving talent management practices for organizations to better recruit, engage, develop and retain their employees.
