Jacobson and Ward Group Launch Semi-Annual U.S. Insurance Labor Outlook Study

CHICAGO – The 2017 first quarter iteration of the Semi-Annual U.S. Insurance Labor Outlook Study will begin January 4 and close January 20, 2017. The survey is conducted by The Jacobson Group and Ward Group, a part of Aon Hewitt, a business unit of Aon plc (NYSE: AON). In its eighth year, the labor outlook study continues to provide valuable insights on insurance labor trends and has become an accurate predictor of the industry’s staffing outlook.

“With near full employment and impending mass retirements of the industry’s continually aging workforce, insurance organizations are coming face to face with an unprecedented talent reality,” says Gregory P. Jacobson, co-chief executive officer of Jacobson. “Insurers must come to terms with the unique challenges of recruiting amid an increasingly shallow talent pool.
