Candidate instructions
Logging In
- Enter your username and password.
- Check "I Accept Terms and Conditions.
- Click Log In.
- If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address in the User Name field then click on Email me my password link.
You will receive an e-mail containing your password.
Entering Your Time
- Once you successfully log in, click on Manage Time Cards and enter your time.
- Click on the pay period you want to enter time for on the left side of the screen. The timecard for that pay period will appear on the right.

To enter your time for the pay period selected, do the following:
- If you work night shift click on the corresponding check box.
- In the Time In and Time Out fields, enter the exact time you started and ended work each day (e.g., 8:06 AM, 6:09 PM).
- Enter the exact start and end time of your break, in the Break Start and Break End fields (e.g., 12:01 pm – 1:03pm).
You must enter the exact times in HH:MM format
- If you receive Per Diem, check on the boxes for appropriate dates.
- Select where you would like Paycheck/Stub to be delivered (Home address is the default delivery option).
- Add any necessary comments that you would like your approver and The Jacobson Group to see in the Timecard Comments field.
- Review your timecard for accuracy.
- If your hours for the week are not yet final, click Save Draft.
- When all hours for the week and Per Diem (if appicable) are entered and final, click Submit for Approval/Review.
- You may also click Print to print a copy of your timecard for your records.

Notes:
- You will only be able to enter a timecard for a pay period if you are actively on a assignment.
- Any applicable overtime or double time will be automatically calculated based on the hours you enter.
- Your timecard remains editable until it is submitted for approval to your team lead or manager.
Viewing Previously Submitted Time
- You can view your timecards for the past 10 weeks by clicking the Pay Period you would like to see on the left side of the screen.
- The timecard for the desired pay period will be displayed on the right.
- If the timecard is in Draft or Rejected status you will be able to edit it.
Reviewing Timecards (team lead only)
- In order to review timecards for your team, first select the pay period on the left.
- Now you can select specific employee and see the timecrd they entered.
- Alternatively you can select the timecards you want to submit by checking on the check box next to the Employee Name and then clicking Submit Selected button.
- If you are viewing the timecard and it is correct click Submit for Approval button. If the timecard is incorrect, enter your comments in the comment field and click Reject button.
Managing Employee Documents
- You must populate and sign all required employee documents prior to your start date.
- In order to view the required documents click on Manage Employee Documents.

The list of documents will appear on the left.
- If the document needs to be read and does not require a signature, Review will appear to the left of the name.
- If the document needs to be filled out and requires a signature, Not Completed will appear to the left of the name.
- If the document has been filled out and signed, Completed will appear to the left of the name.

- To view a document that does not require a signature, just click on the name of the document.
- If a document needs to be filled out, click on its name, populate all the fields, type in your legal name at the bottom, and click Submit.

- After the document is signed you can click on its name to view and/or print it.
